What are your day-to-day responsibilities at Fort Pitt?

As a client relationship specialist, I assist Michael Blehar and Santo Liberto. I like to make things easier for Mike and Santo by assisting our clients with daily requests, preparing client reviews, scheduling appointments, and more. I have six years of experience within the financial industry, the last four of which have been spent with the Fort Pitt team.

What are three traits that define your personality?

Cheerful – I’m always very positive and try to approach life in an optimistic way. If there is a silver lining, I’ll find it!

Determined – I’m always ready to find new ways to solve a problem.

Open-minded – I love to approach every opportunity as a chance to learn something new. Having recently purchased a 100-year-old home in Pittsburgh, Kristopher and I are hard at work renovating the space ourselves. This involves a lot “trial-and-error,” but I’m confident in our newfound abilities and ready for the challenge of home ownership.

What is your favorite part of your job?

I absolutely love interacting day-to-day with the firm’s clients and knowing that I can assist in answering their questions. I’m also genuinely interested in personal finance and the investment process. Having graduated college following the 2008 financial crisis, I learned early that you cannot always count on stability when it comes to the job market. This is something you can either lament or strive to overcome. Being surrounded by experts in this field every day is not only motivating for me but also highly educational.

Tell us one fun fact about yourself

I love to frequent estate sales and flea markets in my never ending quest for vintage furniture. If there is a unique piece from the 1950s or 60s, I need to have it! Aside from furniture, one of the more interesting “pieces” I’ve collected from a sale was a taxidermy peacock – how often will I be faced with an opportunity to buy something like that?! It was a great bargain and great addition to my home.
